Zetangole™ Recipes and Variations

For fantastic fun, try out some of these game-play variations!

  • Recipe 1

The team play variation makes for a great team-building exercise.
Play with two teams. Each team has two or more players. Pick a team name that is a portmanteu/anagram of the individual players' names or initials. During each round, the "team captain" nominates one of his/her team-mates to be the posing subject, another to be the snapper and maybe yet another to help with the make-over. Even the most reserved and conservative of players loosen up and start having fun after the first round!

Find the best caricaturist. Instead of posing human subjects, play with a Magna Doodle™ or a white-board. When assigned a target, the contestant must draw a likeness and snap it. See one such game. For an even greater challenge play with an Etch-a-sketch™ :-)

    Scoring variations suggested by Sz

The original scoring strategy allocates 10 points to the closest match and 0 to all other players. However, it would be nice for all players to get some points, with the most points going to the closest match. Perhaps we could call this the ranked scoring strategy: Players get points between 1 and 10 depending upon how close they are to the target?

    Team variations suggested by Anonymous

Each player is actually a team of two, ideally a male and a female. The team decides which member poses and which member snaps for each celebrity. Obviously no snapper bonuses will be had, but this handicap will apply equally to all teams. Choose short portmanteu team names that capture both member names :-)
